Dr. Jeffrey Weislow

President of Congregation

Jeff Weislow was born in Newark, New Jersey and grew up in Woodbridge, NJ. He attended and had his Bar Mitzvah in a conservative synagogue, Congregation Beth Mordecai. Jeff went to Rutgers University for his undergraduate education and continued on to Texas Chiropractic College where he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1982. That year he married Cathy and shortly afterwards moved to El Paso where he now makes his home. He is presently in private practice as a chiropractor in east El Paso.
Jeff has been a member of Congregation B'nai Zion since 1983. Two of his children, Aaron and Rachel, are graduates of B'nai Zion's Talmud Torah and the El Paso Jewish Academy. B'nai Zion is where they both had their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Jeff and Cathy's youngest son, Isaac, is presently a student of our Talmud Torah.
Jeff has served on our synagogue's general board for more than a decade. During this time he has been on many committees including chairing our youth and ritual committees. He has served on our executive board as vice president for the last two years. He is now president of Congregation B'nai Zion.
